GoodTask 2 - Reminders, To-do, Task Manager with Calendar App Reviews

Excellent app!!

I love this reminders app. Its features make every reminder and calendar info even more useful than just the iPhone reminders app. Super easy to use, yet so much capability. Figure out what features are most useful to yourself and take advantage of this awesome app.

I love and depend on this app, however, your recent update v2.6.4 on 25 September 2015 is not working on iOS 9.0.1. Please help!

Updated both my iPad and iPhone, and it freezes on both. Totally broken. Avoid this update. ------------------------------- Previous review: Almost great: it puts iOS reminders in a much more approachable and powerfully controllable context. That said, it doesnt seem to "catch" new reminders added while its in the background. If I use Siri to add a reminder for a specific time, it never fires unless I open GoodTask beforehand (at which point it seems to sync to reminder). Also, I wish I could use the built-in reminder sounds or add custom ones. Overall, very nice, almost 5⭐️.

Update: I continue to look forward to the day that this app enables manual sorting. That will be a game changer because eve thing else about this app is game changing. It is for this very reason that i not presently using it. -------------------------- As at least one other reviewer said, the main weakness of this app is that you cannot manually sort. Instead, you have to do workaround using dates. In the real world, there are events, meetings and other time specific tasks. But there also to do lists that are have have no time component. That is why I have switched to TODO Cloud which does both and also has Siri integration.

This app is the hands-down winner; by far better than any other app I have tried in this category.

Best app Ive ever found

Finally found an app that simply combines the native iOS reminders app with the native iOS calendar app. So simple to use. Easy to navigate. Excellent customization ability in settings. Ive used a bunch of apps (handle, 24me, fantastical, calendars, anydo, etc.) and nothing comes close to the simplicity or convenience of this app. Great job to the developers!!

Pretty good app for task management. Would be nice if there were option to choose notification sound to distinguish it from other alerts.

Concept is good but there is a bug which marks remainder auto complete at random. When I manually correct it to non complete then some other task is marked complete. Please correct it for better rating

GoodTask is the perfect Apple Reminders native app replacement. Im not sure why they went with the card style reminders app, but its terrible. This app takes the reminders to a whole new level.

Almost perfect but has one strange glitch. Lets say you are in March and realize you have a past due task say January 1 and you never got to it. When you select the quick action feature to have it due in one week - this does not move and sets the task 1 week from "today." Instead it would move the task to January 7. This is very odd because I dont know anyone who uses their calendar in that manner. I have written to the developer about this strange behavior a long time ago and this feature is still not corrected or at least have an option to schedule in this manner. Otherwise, this is an excellent app.

I really want to love this app, but is is super buggy. I add a task and choose all my options - due date, list, repeating option...go to save and it reverts back to a blank task. EVERY TIME.

I have looked at & downloaded so many todo/reminder apps that I was ready to give up searching. Then I came across GoodTask 2. It has finally given me an app that I can use for both tasks & calendar reminders in list form. It has a calendar view if needed. So many of these apps that offer so much flexibility are just too difficult to use without a lot of practice time, if ever. This app offers everything including syncing with IOS reminders & calendar and repeat tasks that includes every repeat pattern possible. I needed the ability to use last day of month for one & a second Wednesday of each month for another. It was easy to set up. It offers manual or auto day night setting. Using this app is very intuitive, which can be a difficult thing to find. Give it a try if you cant seem to find the perfect app. *Update (10/28/15): thanks for fixing the bug in syncs. Everything is syncing from iPad to iPhone very quickly - Thank you!

Why isnt this app HUGE!!! Its the only thing out there that takes full advantage of the native reminders app! I have both the iOS and OS X version and its beautiful and powerful!! Just the best!

The BEST reminder client EVER!

The best option for me by far because it integrates with my well established reminders and calendars in iOS so that I can continue using iCloud web interface, Siri and my existing shared lists and calendars with my family without having to migrate all my data into another app or platform. Its great and it serves as a much more reliable and useful interface than the iOS Reminders app. Well worth it.

Best app for reminders

I finally dropped Any.do (not a good app) for this one. The only thing its missing is a web version or Chrome extension. Two other requests: 1. More alarm sound choices. These are ok, but could be better. Even the iPhone stock sounds would work. 2. More themes. The two colors are good, but lets liven it up! Keep up the great work! 11/21 update: its crashing when I try to add reminders. Totally unusable at this point.

Like the layout and many of the functionalities and the integration with iOS Reminders. Have had the app for two days and experienced a multitude of crashes...Every time I make any any change to an existing reminder (due date, priority etc) the app crashes.
